Godly Woman by Andile Andy (Really like this Poem)

Godly Women by Andile Andy

A woman who walks in God's love.
Reflecting the beauty of the father above.
Who is not defeated by things most men find tough.
A woman whose not just a pretty face
But a woman of God's grace
Beholding God's face
A woman who lives knowing she's headed heaven in God's place.
A woman of good character, not better competence.
A woman who symbolizes the goodness of God by her excellence.
A woman who pray for her house, and other residence.
She walks with the Lord
shouting, pleading's how me the way oh God'.
I'm talking abhor a woman whose 'BAD'.
Baptized and delivered.
I'm talking about a woman whose 'MAD'
Magnificent and devoted.
I'm talking about the forever loved lovable leading ladies.
Who help us see the best in our daddies.
A woman whose blessed.
And knows that can never be reversed.
A woman who does not Drink,
But raises the bar.
A woman who prays to properly Think,
before making decisions that will put her away from God afar.
A woman of noble character like Ruth.
Who teaches her family that only God is the truth.
A woman who would ask God to tell satanic thoughts to get off her.
A woman who would never sacrifice faith by what the world has to offer.
A woman who conquers like how Ester conquered Haman.
A woman who makes the best out of a man.

I am talking about a Godly woman

A Poem of Thought

Fun is Allowed

Although to the Lord your being is vowed
As human we learn to relax and laugh
In being Christian, fun is allowed

A laughter in joy swell to that out loud
Giving yourself freely on His behalf
As to the Lord your being is vowed

So special to Him our laughter made proud
Not like Aaron and the golden calf
But, being a Christian, fun is allowed

Only know it's in morals and motive
That God allows moments of joy
As in His Words the Apostles wrote of

Life He created for us to enjoy
Expecting us to live in Him happy
To this a laughter our voice deploy

But, unmoral motives can make unhappy
As to the Lord your being is vowed
Cheerful we be, not as wicked happy
Being a Christian SOME fun is allowed

Thoughts: You know, there is a huge misconception that being a Christian eliminates all fun in one's life. That's not true! As a matter of fact, being a Christian is very exciting; especially when one see's the Lord working in one's life, and that gives many happy, fun, and awesome moments. It just depends on the circumstances of one's fun. God is not trying to make us unhappy in following Him, nor trying to spoil our fun; quite the opposite. It is a joy in knowing our creator and all the things He is and will bless us with in Him by our side. Excitement and happy fills the air when one gives themselves to the Lord. The journey home to Him is awesome and filled with many happy moments. "He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he" (Proverbs 14:21. NKJV). Remember, God wants you to be happy, in being a Christian fun is allowed!

A Poem for Thought

Moral Decay is No Excuse

Purity is all about what you choose
Today's society is morally corrupt
But moral decay is no excuse

For a moment of pleasure, what you loose
Inner standards of morals then interrupt
Purity is all about what you choose

Living life to that of society's views
Where one's Holy Spirit can be disrupt
Purity is all about what you choose

Although the world says it's impossible
We can walk in spirit of purity
As Christ's guidance makes it possible

Treasure and guard it with His security
It's a prize that's worth holding onto tight
One should protect it in obscurity

When in the world you've given into sight
Purity is all about what you choose
In choosing Christ in this He gives you light
Knowing moral decay is no excuse

Thoughts: Even in a society of moral decay, it is possible to stay pure. Although, most look at staying sexually pure until marriage or practicing abstinence as archaic-like something out of the history books-and call it completely irrelevant or impractical in today's society. The only difference in today's society and in the Biblical society is technology where impurity can be more widely broadcast. Our society today is no more morally decayed than it was in the Biblical days. Some religions in Biblical days even practiced sexual activities as part of their rituals. With God purity is possible and once one gets that realization, he or she will experience the supernatural power of God in his or her life.  Purity is a prized possession that is both powerful and protecting. Powerful purity because the Holy Spirit lives within you as a confessed Christian and He is a pure and powerful entity that can empower you through temptation in maintaining  your prize and privilege of purity. Protecting purity comes from the consequences of impurity; such impacting and negative consequences as physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual damages that impurity creates. 1 Corinthians 6:13 says "Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body" (NKJV). And "Or did you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you where bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20. NKJV). In knowing this, one should want to protect the precious gift of purity. Now some may be thinking, it's too late. But, our God is a God of second chances. Although, the world may say impossible, the Lord says possible. The Lord is a God of secondary purity and of defeating the impossible. It may just take longer than being birthed into purity; but, is possible with God. Purity is not just one who has not had sex-Yes Mostly-but it is also a heart, soul, and mind purity. Remaining or maintaining purity also is not a burden, nor an obligation; it's a privilege. In a world where most think purity is ancient and impossible, the Lord says come with Me, I will show you how to achieve purity through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Know that purity is a gift that warrants your protection and in safe guarding that gift moral decay is no excuse.

Note: Have you ever heard about dimensioning return? Remember the first time you went to the beach, how exciting that was for you. Every sense was heightened in taking in that experience as a fabulous one. The sound of the waves rushing onto the beach was fantastic, the sand moving between your toes and the scene of a never ending water world was an experience all new to you. It was very exciting. But, now you have gone to that same beach many times and the excitement isn't the same. The experience isn't as trilling as it was the first time. The return of the trilling experience from going to the same beach after many times is less intense as it used to be; thus, diminished. It would take more and more different beaches to get that same excitement and even then, it would never be as fabulous as the first time. Well, I hope you get my point as you apply the law of diminishing return to remaining sexually pure. One little kiss want hurt, one might tell you. But, after several kisses what comes next, a tongue (the No Zone), then it would take more and more to achieve that excitement of the first kiss again and before you know it, you are partaking in sexually immoral activities as an unmarried couple. Don't let temptation diminish your prized possession of purity in taking the excitement and preciousness of that purity that is meant for you and that special person God has for you. Saying No is a gift too, believe it or not. Women as emotional creatures, saying No helps us in keeping our emotions in check, because let's face it we fall for a guy and put our emotions in it much deeper than they do; thus, helps keep ourselves safe and respectful. For men, in hearing No (even saying No, if he's a decent guy), helps him maintain respect for the woman, also helps him in maturity as he has to step up or step out. You are giving yourself a gift and the other, as well. So, purity a burden or obligation, I think not. It's a prized possession, guard it as such, as it guards you!

If you have compromised your purity, don’t believe the words of the enemy. You are worthy and you can experience hope and healing in the arms of our Lord!

A Rare Sight!

 Hey guys,

I had to tell you of my fortunate sighting today as I was getting off work. It was daylight and I seen a nocturnal Luna Moth. Where I live it is very rare to see this special creation of  God's. Especially during the day. It was still alive and in our drive at my job. So, I lifted it onto a piece of cardboard and took it to safety in the leaves. I am glad I took a picture seen in the image below. They mostly represent transformation. Am not a mystical person as am God fearing, but I believe I was fortunate to catch such a sight on camera. Had to share this special sighting.

Live life to the fullest for God, as we don't have long here. Let the past go and press on into your future.
"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14 NKJV)

  Hey Guys,

I appreciate all of you.

I opened my blog site January 2019 and published my first poem book February, 2019. It was midsummer of 2018 when I started this on going adventure in writing poems. My site has morphed many times during this time in separating the objectives of rhyming poetry encouragement and Christian living poetry and in changing of names of my site(s).  Currently this site will be forwarded to my other site shortly.  And will eventual change the name of that site. In addition, is doing away with the email subscription link come June; just letting you be aware of this. Over the course of the last few years have wrote and published 7 poem books via Amazon, totaling 316 poems. I have now updated my latest published book in the Growing Strong in The Lord Poetry series to include the recent poems I posted here. It has been an adventure of a life time for me as I had learned how to format both paper back and eBook (still learning eBook) for publishing. In addition, I have learned a great deal about myself, some good, some bad, this too had been a huge eye opener. I believe my journey here in this world is far from over, my life thus far had been a challenge, a struggle, and some heartbreaking moments as well as many wonderful blessings along the way. In addition, I know God is not finished with developing my spirit being. I have yet, many, many things to learn as a Christian. This is a spiritual journey with our Lord I believe never ends while here in this world. However, my adventure in writing and publishing poem books in this season of my life has come to a close. It's been amazing having you all as an audience for both the good and the bad times. I do greatly appreciate you all's attentiveness to my poem writing adventure. Now I'm on to a new writing adventure; which I will announce when the time is right. Meanwhile, I may on occasion post a poem that will not be in any book and post encouraging Bible quotes and pictures of encouragement.

Thanks for the Love guys!

Opportunity for Passion in Christ

Forget not what He sacrificed
Let the warmth grow in your heart as
Opportunity for passion in Christ

For to salvation our soul, He was priced
With His life freedom ours He says
Forget not what He sacrificed

In pain at death His love for us sufficed
Now our soul with Him inside has
Opportunity for passion in Christ

As unmarried hope in this does increase
Where distractions this world is less
With focus on Him to never cease

As a couple, Christ first to this less stress
When one's time as single was spent with Him
For in that time one's soul greatly bless

When to singleness things seem grim
Forget not what He sacrificed
In this season, one learns to sing this hymn
Opportunity for passion in Christ

Thoughts: Being single is not defeat, rather an opportunity that once attached to another somewhat diminishes. It's an opportunity to grow in passion for Christ as one is allowed more time to do so. Time that will decrease once attached to another. "But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for things of the Lord. But he who is married cares about things of the world---how he may please his wife" (1 Corinthians 7:32-33. NKJV). That's not to say a married couple cannot have as much passion for Christ, individually, as a single person. Only that a single person has more opportunity as single to grow in Christ as more time allows. A married couple that puts Christ first, individually, then as a married couple can develop just as much passion for Christ. Can you imagine how great the relationship and love of two people in a relationship that first developed passion for Christ, individually, and continue to do so in their relationship in putting Christ first? Please don't look at needing another person to complete you, as only Christ can do that. Rather try to get an understanding that singleness is an opportunity for passion in Christ!
