Identity of Self is The Lords
For he was told to sever his cords
To leave security and familiar place
Where identity of self is the Lords
He moved to where the Lord affords
Leaving inheritance to be displace
For he was told to sever his cords
God gave promise to this awards
Many descendants and land to embrace
Where identity of self is the Lords
His connection to God, filling this void
As the only deity he would need
Cultural traditions he did avoid
For with this separation he is freed
And given in leadership a nation
A promise in obedience God decreed
All the earth blessed in this migration
For he was told to sever his cords
Having faith in the Lord for duration
Where identity of self is the Lords

I will bless those that bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed" (NKJV). Verse 7 "Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants I will give this land" (NKJV).
